Meet Obinna Onungwa, a Tech disruptor who is changing the way we connect, do business, and gather information, and get our haircut
Getting a haircut should be easy. Have you ever found yourself in need of a haircut, yet clueless on where to begin your search? Consider your problem solved!
Obinna Onungwa runs an early stage tech company called The Haircutting Company. Through using a mobile application called Cue, he curates a community of premier barbers in major cities throughout the world. Barbers can reach new clients, receive payments, and solicit client feedback. Clients can find and favorite barbers, join their queues, pay barbers electronically, and leave feedback.
Obinna was formerly a Business Development Associate for early stage tech start-up, The Daily Muse, where he established the Washington D.C. market amongst various employers seeking to hire millenial talent. Prior to this, he worked with technology start-ups in Accra, Ghana, as an Incubator Fellow with the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology. Obinna was also a former Senior Marketing Associate for LivingSocial, an online coupon company and a Summer Analyst with the Sales & Trading division at Goldman Sachs. He holds a BA in History from University of Maryland College Park.
